Get in touch

Start with a short summary of what happened.

Email me about your case using the address below. A few clear paragraphs are enough for the first message.

I handle most matters — including depositions and client meetings — by video, so I can work efficiently with clients wherever they are.

Email me about your case

Keep the first message clear and factual. A short summary is usually more useful than a long narrative or a full document set.

Email is the best first step for a new matter. I read and screen every inquiry myself, and a short written summary tells me more than a first phone call would.

Include:

  • Your name and best contact info (phone, email, preferred method)
  • Your relationship to the affected person (self, parent, spouse, etc.)
  • Where it happened (county and state, and the hospital or facility if relevant)
  • When it happened (rough date or date range)
  • A short summary: what was done or not done that you think was wrong, and what harm resulted

A few paragraphs is plenty for a first message. I read every inquiry personally, and if the case looks like a possible fit, I'll follow up with more specific questions.

If you'd prefer to use a structured template, here it is.

Copy the template below into a new email if you want a more structured first message.

Send to intake@dehlegal.com with subject "Possible case".
